   A leader in the trade show and events exhibit industry, Czarnowski, also has shown leadership in sustainability. Czarnowski has been a commercial customer of Evergreen Recycling since early this year. Together, Czarnowski and Evergreen Recycling have diverted more than 175 tons from the landfill by recycling aluminum, steel, cardboard, plastics and paper. Czarnowski has made sustainability a part of its corporate culture nationwide by integrating recycling into its operations and its Las Vegas operations have served as a model for the rest of the company. When designing and building exhibits, Czarnowski, whenever possible, incorporates recycled and environmentally friendly materials such as bamboo flooring, live greenery and recycled plastic. Now that is a company exhibiting a commitment to the environment.   As founder and President of Evergreen Recycling, I am proud to present our First Edition of the Green Standard, our company newsletter. When we commenced operations in 1997, many questioned whether or not the little extra effort to reduce our consumption and wasteful practices was really worth the benefit. Was recycling making a difference in the environment? The simple answer is an emphatic YES! It was true then and true today as global economic growth has pressured the available supply of natural resources. What would our supply of these virgin resources be without recycling? At Evergreen, recycling and preservation of natural resources is not just our business; it is our passion. We have created this newsletter to provide valuable information about conservation to our business community. We hope you will take some time to review the helpful recycling tips, interesting factoids and customer spotlights contained in this and future editions.
